Improved Stock's online presence through strategic restructuring, conversion optimization, and a cohesive brand refresh

Stock Studio is a furniture company focused on bringing beauty, order, and stability to the complexity of designing spaces. From private homes to offices and hospitality projects, they combine a strong design vision with practical solutions that transform how people live and work.

The Challenge

Despite years in the market and a clear value proposition, their digital presence didn’t reflect the quality or depth of their offering. This project aimed to translate that essence into a cohesive, premium online experience.

Also, Stock Studio faced other key issues:

  • Fragmented experience with two separate websites (corporate and e-commerce)

  • Poor user experience, making it difficult for customers to browse or purchase products

  • Lack of brand storytelling, especially around craftsmanship, collaborations, and services

This disconnect created friction in the buying journey and failed to communicate the premium nature of their offerings.

The process

I began with stakeholder meetings to understand the business, vision, and requirements. From there, I conducted market research to define positioning and opportunities.

Insights were translated into wireframes and visual directions, aligning structure and look & feel early on. Once approved, I moved into full UI design and design system creation, ensuring consistency and scalability across the new Shopify experience.

The Approach

Rather than a redesign, this project required building a new digital foundation from scratch.

1. Unifying the Experience

We consolidated the two existing websites into a single Shopify platform, creating a seamless journey between brand discovery and product purchase.

2. Defining a Visual Language

We introduced a utilitarian design approach—clean, structured, and intentional—to highlight the products without unnecessary distractions.
A new color, already present in other brand touchpoints, was incorporated to create consistency across platforms.

3. Elevating Product Presentation

Given the high price point, each product needed to feel like an investment piece. We focused on:

  • Detailed product pages with rich descriptions and specifications

  • Visual hierarchy that emphasizes craftsmanship and materials

4. Expanding the Value Proposition

Stock Studio is more than a furniture retailer. We made this clear by integrating:

  • Interior design services for rooms and full homes

  • Collaborations with designers as part of the brand narrative

  • Service-driven content positioned as key selling points, not secondary features

5. Designing for Trust and Conversion

The new experience was built to:

  • Reduce friction in navigation and checkout

  • Clearly communicate value for high-ticket items

  • Balance inspiration with usability

Ultimately, the new website positions Stock Studio not just as a place to buy furniture, but as a design-led brand ready to scale its online business.
